Shades & Shadows is a registered nonprofit, and we survive exclusively on ticket revenue and donations.
Your donation, in any amount, helps us achieve and exceed our goals. Some of where your donation money would go is obvious:
- Venue rental
- Chairs and tables
- Website costs
- Promotional materials
But it also goes to:
- Paying our authors
- Paying our photographer
And it will help us:
- Expand our project into universities and colleges
- Bring more authors from out of town
- Pay for merchandise
- Hire a grant writer to do all this, and more!
This project began in 2013 as an idea. We wanted to provide a space for fans and authors to come together and do something that had never been done. With your tax deductible donation, we can help the authors who read with us reach a wider audience.
