WHAT WE WANT:
We’ve got a pretty broad stance on what we’re willing to accept. So long as the content is dark in some way, we’ll at the very least be interested. Horror especially has a broad definition (or, more appropriately, no definition). While we are mostly geared towards supernatural or fantastical elements, if the piece has a wonderful serial killer we’ll absolutely consider it. We’re also happy to put up poetry as well as fiction. Again, so long as it hits a dark note and has some aspect of noir, science fiction, dark fantasy, or horror, we’d love to have some poets on stage. Got a piece of interactive storytelling you’d like to perform with our audience? By all means, let’s talk. If it defies categorization, bring it on. We like the challenge., and we think our audience will too.
WHAT WE DON’T WANT:
Erotica, romance, Tuesdays With Morrie-esque novels, Oprah Book Club selection material, and the like. Also, no fan-fic; your work must be original and not based on other copyrighted works.
